The policy of the Copper & Glass Federal Credit Union is to make funds from deposits into Share Accounts available to the members on the next business day after the deposit is made. At that time, funds may be withdrawn, and we will use the funds to pay checks that have been written. For determining the availability of deposits, everyday is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays. If a deposit is made before 4:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on a business day that the Credit Union is open, that will be considered the day of deposit.
Absolutely NO Account will be below the $25.00 minimum.
There will be a 2 (business) day hold on all local and non-local checks.
EXCEPTION HOLD (Longer delays may apply.)
1.) New Account - (2) Day Hold.
2.) Out of Area Checks - (7) Day Hold.
3.) Checks over $5,000.00 and Insurance Checks - (7) Day Hold (First $200.00 is Available).
4.) (1) Day Hold on the following: US Treasury Checks, USPS Money Orders, Federal Reserve Bank Checks and State or Local Government Checks.
